{Valentine's Day Nails}

Since tomorrow is Valentine's Day, I thought I'd share with you an easy Valentine's Day nail tutorial! It's super simple, and doesn't require much but patience -- I have the hardest time letting my nails dry completely before getting up to do something! 

the hardest part is the heart, but a thin layer of top coat smooths out all the bumps :) 

Steps:

1.  Apply a base coat

2. Apply (2) thin coats of white nail polish - I used #981 Super Star by Pure Ice (no idea where I got this one..)

3. Use a dotting tool, or a toothpick to draw a heart in red - I used #130 Velvet Rope by Revlon Colorstay (this is my favorite drugstore line of nail polish!)

4. Dot on glitter polish- (I used #200 Strobe Light by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear) on the rest of your nails! Again, if you don't have a dotting tool, you can just use a toothpick! - it works just as well! 

5. After drying your nails, apply your favorite top coat and voila- all your nails should be smooth & shiny! xo
